“Embrace how other people see the world”
Being a trained psychologist, helps me understand what data to gather, how to gather it and how to incorporate the findings into product designs.
My experience with user research ranges from HCI work in ubiquitous computing to automotive to field work. I have conducted field studies, usability tests, workshops and surveys in Europe, North America and South Africa. I also understand the value of academic research and also understand when it’s appropriate.
I really enjoy working in interdisciplinary environments. I find them challenging and fun.
I’ve worked with development teams following both waterfall and agile software development methodologies. I’ve worked with vendors and coached project teams.
